Many years ago the Earth was settled by ancient creatures, some of them spoiled people`s lives greatly. It was a horrifying night. Terrifying dinosaurs attacked the village of one boy`s prehistoric tribe: they trampled the fire and killed the whole tribe. The only saved man turned out to be the boy, who had gone hunting that night. When he returned home, his grief was endless. He lost everything and most importantly the fire! He spent many days sitting near the extinct fire and mourning his relatives.
But his stomach couldn`t stand the starvation and the boy felt hungry. So he went hunting in the forest. He found there a cave. It took several days for him to feel at home and to try to kindle the fire. The unhappy boy gave up all hope of eating some roasted meat and to warm near the fire. But the gods of fortune felt sorry for the boy. A tornado passed near the forest accompanied by lighting. The lightning set fire to the tree. This fact astonished the kid greatly. He took the stick and ran towards the tree. So the fire was started in the cave.

As you know the object of Craps is to predict the outcome of a roll of the dice. It is as difficult as to predict somebody`s fate.
That samurai couldn`t predict his fate too he didn`t know that he would wander about different countries with the purpose to find something unusual for his emperor. That march was the most tiresome and perilous in his life. He saw many interesting things, which were created by clever and ingenious people, but there was no thing to strike emperor`s imagination. After ten years of the searching the emaciated man decided to go home. On his way back he stopped in one house to spend the night. The masters were hospitable and the food was excellent and what attracted the man`s attention greatly was the game people played after dinner. That game was absorbing and samurai bought its rules and equipment. After that excellent acquisition, the man was going home in elevated mood when he was tightened in the ring of highway robbers. They took up the swards and the battle began. Our hero left much blood on the earth but all his enemies were beaten! Samurai returned to the emperor`s palace as a winner and introduced the game. It made a great impression on the imperator and he was promoted to the rank of commander-in-chief in his army.

The man, who stands in the foreground of the picture you see, is the strongest and the most dexterous in emperor`s regular army. This evening he is on sentry duty, because of the following occurrence.
A month ago Japanese emperor had built a new palace and a park to everyone`s entertainment. Men, women, boys, girls and people in years loved it very much. There were many calm places for old people, several secluded nooks for loving couples, an amusement park, a field for childish sports and one special area with playing machines. That area was the centre of everyone`s attention and that kind of amusement used to be people`s big draw. For an obvious reason the park was simultaneously the object of admiration and the object of envy for other rulers. Everything took its normal course when one night several thieves made his appearance in the park. That people were sent by a Chinese emperor. He did it not to be bursting with envy. First of all thieves ought to pilfer game machines, but they couldn`t as they were mounted an honest effort. That fact made them malicious and they began smashing up the park. After their dirty deal they disappeared.

Toader is a game that I made to replace the Frogger game I lost. I wanted to play Frogger, but couldn`t; thus Toader was born. Toader is basically Frogger dressed up as a toad -- but really, it makes so much more sense than Frogger, frogs can swim, why does Frogger die when he falls into the water? well, with Toader it all makes sense... I hope you can appreciate Toader as it is my first ever published game. I used all of my own sounds and graphics and it took a while. So, if you like oldschool game art and cheesy sound effects, then Toader is the game for you!
